I have been in Isgus hell for a while, and I finally made my way through a nightmare repair. This Isgus has a dead beat with adjustable pallets, a friction adjust verge/crutch. I get the clock in beat, and a short while later it is out of beat. I think the friction fit has lost its mojo. It is my observation the pendulum swings the verge out of beat. Has anyone ever adjusted one of these? I have not had this problem that I can remember.

Thomas, if the clutch slips too easily, you will need to remove the verge and stake it tighter. Since it is not auto-beat, there is no plastic or soft materials to deal with. I use a crows foot to mount it in and then stake it so it won’t slip on it’s own.

Make sure there is no oil on the slip clutch. Re- clean the verge assembly if there is any oil. Oiling the slip clutch makes it too easy to move and would cause this problem.
