This movement is from a customers clock. Was it made by Herschede? It have many features which say yes, such as various arbors and winding drums, the seat board and screws, etc. As you see the dial has no "HERSCHEDE" enscribed. Is the logo genuine? I have overhaued several Herschede Hall Clock movements but have not previously seen this movement. The owner thinks it is antique, 19th century, but I have my doubts. There are too many mid 20th century looking features. Sorry I don't have a photo of the case, a lapse on my part. The case is tall, suggesting an 18th or 19th century English or Scottish tall case. It has a large slide-off hood.

Any suggestions as to who the manufacturer is and possible date?

    Thanks, Bert 314814.jpg 314815.png 314816.jpg 314817.jpg
