    My immediate impression on seeing the movement was that it resembled Carl Werner. However, this is only my impression and may well not be right.

    It is not Werner, at least the gear setup is different from the earliest Werner's that I saw. I would say it could be some another small manufacture from Triberg-Lenzkirch area.
