Is there still an "Industrial Time Recorders" special interest chapter?

I found this link while browsing for information to help with the restoration of a Cincinnati Time Recorder we picked up recently.

Trying to follow the link brings up only error messages. Is there still a group with knowledge about these old recorders. I think ours might be 1912. It has two numbers on the movement: 27887 on the lower left, 60 on the lower right. No clock manufacturer stamp on the plates.

Thank you

How about specific directions, rather than sarcasm? My initial search used " time recorder clocks" as a search term. Even now, all that comes up is my newly posted thread. I have to say that when I look back over threads from past years, the attitudes on the forum seemed more friendly and helpful.

We do have this thread, but I can't say whether it will answer your questions. Perhaps you have seen it? It hasn't received a lot of activity.

Thank you very much, Steve. The link you provided allowed me to date the recorder to 1927. I don't have specific questions just yet, as I've only just started to clean up the piece, but later perhaps I'll be able to add some photos to that thread once the clock is running again, or will be able to ask questions if problems arise.

One other thing. If your main inquiry is about restoration, you might want to start a thread in the Clock Repair forum, with copious pictures to accompany the text, and see what others have to say.

Leave off the word "clock" when you do the search...search for TIME RECORDER and you will find many threads (caps not needed)
