Is there a cure?

Over fifty years ago I became the owner of a Series3 Land Rover and in no time at all they became an obsession. I still have two, a little fifty-one year old pick-up truck and a current Discovery Sport. There has always been at least one and sometimes three in my ownership. However good or bad they are I can't resist them.
Now 400 Day Clocks are having the same effect, and I had my first about two years ago and now have seventeen. All of them "Spares or Repair" as I love trying to resurrect them. I have told my children to take my credit card away as l'll soon be penniless.
And Kurt's footnote about working on them a form of madness is deadly accurate! Is there any rehab available ?

The lack of space is the only thing that has stopped me from trying to save them all, which is not a cure. So, in answer to your question, I’d say that’s a ‘no’.

Not a chance! My repair queue alone takes up most of one room in the house, and my collection spreads throughout the rest.

I just crossed a threshold where I scrapped out a couple of clocks because they had little to no value to begin with, would have taken far more effort to bring back to life than I have to give, and were taking up space I do not have to spare. Even given all the above, it was tremendously painful.
