I've got a GF 18S hunter case that has gunk in places I've never seen gunk.

Wondering if L&R 111 cleaner in my ultrasonic bath would be OK to clean it with?

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Sure, but that's a VERY expensive fluid to use up that way! I bought a gallon of Simple Green at the hardware store and use it diluted about 10:1 as the instructions suggest, in the case-cleaning ultrasonic. My gallon is lasting a long time.

Even dish soap would probably work fine.

Thanks Chris. I believe I'll start with Dawn that is presently located in the sink...and see how that goes.

I usually use warm water, dish soap and some ammonia, maybe a toothbrush for the tough dirt.

I used Dawn and hot water in the ultrasonic for about 7 minutes and it came out very clean. I may try adding the ammonia next time just to see what the difference is. Thanks for the tips.

The ammonia usually makes the gold look shinier
