Hi all, I haven't been searching for clocks lately but this morning I happened upon this iron front clock and it peaked my interest. I may have to go back and get it. I'm hoping someone here might know what we're looking at. The front is iron. The case behind is wood. I don't think the movement is anything special from what I can tell of the pendulum hanging. Pendulum hangs and looks like that of an american movement There is no maker printed on the dial ..wasn't able to take it off the wall. Is this a Waterbury, Ansonia, Ithaca or the like? Could it be that the front was painted and that it actually should be more colourful?
