Interesting Museum of Clocks Recently, I was in the Chicago area and visited The Halim Time & Glass Museum located at 1560 Oak Avenue in Evanston, IL (just north of Chicago). The 2nd floor of the Museum is devoted to Clocks of the World. They also have some early Horology tools on display. I was told the collection took 40 years to amass. Text below pasted from website, Halim Time & Glass Museum | Explore beauty and craftsmanship as you travel through time on a journey to discover the art and science of timekeeping. Over 1,100 timepieces are on display including tower clocks, chronometers, automatons, pocket watches and tall case clocks. Beautifully restored and preserved, the collection is one of the finest in the world.
