Bangster's explanation of the Ingraham ssd1 chime workings on an earlier thread allowed me to determine why my Ingraham ssc2 only chimes once, on every hour.:)

The ssc2 workings appear similar to the ssd1 with the exceptions noted on the photo below lifted from Bangster's post:

    1. The ssc2 hour disk is a "flat hat" design, not conical as shown in the other photos on the the post.

    2. The "rod of mystery" is missing in my hour disk. I assume that rod engages the hook and allows proper chiming. Without it there is no hope.

Am I right, and, are there replacement ssc2 hour disks to be had?:D

    Thanks!
