Ingraham questions

Can anyone tell me what the thin wire above and right of the coil gong is for? It appears to be original, as does everything on the clock. Also, are any of these three pendulums an actual Ingraham pendulum?

Hello Cd3,

That wire was used to hook onto the bottom of the suspension spring so that the suspension spring would not flop around during transit.

The first pendulum in an Ingraham but it is a later vintage and does not belong to your clock, I believe.

According to Tran Duy Ly, in his Ingraham book, your clock is the "Crayon" model which was in a catalogue in 1886. The image does not show the pendulum well but the link has a good photo of what you need.
