It looks like a nice movement and fairly modern with shock protection. If it is Chinese, hey did a decent job.

Even if Swiss it may be made up of parts from China. Swiss made only requires that most of its cost comes from Switzerland.

It looks like it can give long service.

This watch is probably legally Swiss but with nearly all Chinese content. This is legal because labor is much more expensive in Switzerland, but it is a CHinese watch.

It is not a Chinese copy because it is not a copy of a Swiss watch.

I think that's the first time I've seen a ratchet wheel that isn't solid, i.e., with spokes. It's interesting, but perhaps a weak point? I can't tell if the back is removed in the image or whether the case has a different sort of display back. If it is a display back, I guess I can see why they'd dress up the ratchet wheel. The movement is a bit "plain Jane" without that touch. It adds a bit to the overall aesthetics. At least to my eye. Cheers.

Worth is personal. If you like these are fun to wear and nothing tells someone they boring you like taking a pocket watch out of a pocket and looking at it. It works nicely if you are into vests or clothes with watch pockets.

It should give good service, be servicable but it is very unlikely to hold much of its retail cost as an investment.

To be eligible for Swiss Made 60% of the value must be of origin in Switzerland, only the value of the movement is considered. So it is enough that in Switzerland it is checked and adjusted to be Swiss Made.

Back in the sixties, I saw quite a few Swiss watches with spoked ratchet wheels the same as that. AS 1686 was a common one.
