My friend owns this clock. Any idea what it might be?
Any suggestions on a clockmaker in NW Arkansas and surrounding areas who could work on it?
Thanks!
Don

Please can you show a pic of the movement? That would help folks to identify it for you. Your photo cannot be enlarged, but there seems to be something written on the dial below the 6. What does it say?

If you can't find anyone closer, I would think that Tulsa would have a clock shop. The dial might say Sessions. Not sure, of course. It's a Westminster chime clock, if that helps. Probably made a bit before or around WWII.

When I saw the dial, the first thing that came to my mind was Sessions. But I am not very expert in American clocks, so I dared not say!

Glad someone else more knowledgeable than I had the same feeling.

I don't think Sessions made any chime clock movements but I agree with Bug's time frame. I think they stayed in business until the late 50s, so it could be a German movement:???:

Yep, definitely need more info.

My bet's on Junghans. 99% sure judging from the case, dial, winding arbor positions, and the Chime/Silent lever location.

Thanks, all! Update... below the "6" it does say "Junghans Germany". I'll post a picture of the movement shortly, it may have a date code. Interesting stuff!
