I recently acquired this E N Welch clock and have not been able to identify the model and year. Can you help me? The label is disintegrating but if the first line of the label is the model name it looks like it starts with an A. The glass has a nautical theme. The case is oak. It has an alarm. I'm assuming it is prior to 1902 because there is no mention of Sessions in the manufacturer's name. The movement is stamped with E N Welch, Forestville, Conn USA. The clock runs well. Upon opening the case I can smell oil. I'm not a clock repair person, but if I'm not careful I may be becoming a collector. I'm fascinated with the mechanics and engineering. Any help would be appreciated.
