Can anyone give me a rough idea of the origin and date of this German Cuckoo Clock?
Asking for a friend. Is is a reasonably good one? No price asked. Just information.

Yes German. Yes, a reasonably good one but it needs restoration, or at least a lot of repair work. 1920s would be my guess on the age. Others will add to this.

It looks interesting. Good quality of carvings. I agree with the date between '20 and '30.
Do you have the weights? It is always good to incorporate them into the photos since they give clues mainly about the duration of the march, although in this case it is deduced by the movement that it is clearly one day.
The value is not much in my country, about 100 to 120 dollars.
