Reciever from an estate of an aunt 30 years ago. She lived in Montreal and worked for CNIB. This was a time piece that I always remenber her having. I am told that this is a minute repeater with gun metal case. Never been serviced while I have had it. Still keeps close time. Would like to know more about this piece so that the information can be passed along with the watch.

Attached are a few pictures of the watch

Thanks.

Have you operated the repeater? That's a good way to know whether it actually is a minute repeater or quarter repeater.

Thanks for your responses.

Just returned from New Zealand two weeks ago. Need a lot more than three weeks to see the wonderful sites. Natural beauty in full view. Thanks Kurt for your findings.

it's possible Le phare...

So, nothing can be sure...

More than 30 makers of repeater...mostly anonymous.

We usually give Le Phare credit for any repeater.. wrongly.
