• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

    Thank you!

From a repairmans horde it is missing both fans, one barrel and its spring. With the unusual finish on the plates i would like to get it running. Can anyone identify the maker? The markings tend to make me think its German. 20190828_133550.jpg 20190828_133557.jpg 20190828_133611(0).jpg 20190828_163609.jpg

Yes, I believe it's German and I have seen this unusual finish on the plates before. Now if I could only remember when and where........

I'll let you know if I can remember or find it.

I'll move it over the general discussions forum. They might be able to help.

Thanks to everyone for the effort. It is currently in the ultrasonic. The markings remind me of hand scraped ways on a lathe or milling machine.

It resembles a Mathias Bäuerle GmbH product but I make no guarantees of its ID. Biggest aspects that stick out to me are the pinwheel locking disc, chime hammer curvature, and the movement's plate finishing.

I agree it's a Mathias Bäuerle. Production date circa 1924.
Here movement a little younger, there are differences:
