Hi tictoc,
Your clock plate is very similar to Plate # 1340D. It uses suspension unit # 11B.
These units are available from several sources but the best place to get one is:

Hi again tictoc,
Sorry to hear that the suspension unit didn't work for you. According to the book the 11B unit measures approx. 5 3/16" from the bottom of the hole in the top block to the top of the pin in the bottom block. There is a unit 11A which was for earlier Kern clocks that is approx. 3/16" shorter. They both call for the same thickness of the spring. (.0036")
While I have no first hand experience (I make up my own units) I have heard that non Horolovar pre assembled units tend to run too fast. That is why I recommended Horolovar as my first choice.

Being you already have the suspension spring, why don't you try reducing the thickness of the spring. This will make the clock run slower. Get a piece of fine emory cloth. Remove the bottom block and lay the spring on a solid surface. Run the cloth along the spring in one direction (not back and forth). Do four or five swipes on one side and four or five on the other. Two hours is alot, however by trial and testing, this may pull it in so your pendulum can make the adjustment. Hope this helps. Jim
