This clock was placed on the building of a local news paper in 1907, in Louisville, KY. The news paper moved out of this location in 1947, the clock has been electrify some were along the line. Question: who was the original maker, could have been the drive works were inside the building. The present owner of the building has no idea about facts of this clock. 14651232917_62ebaa011f_n.jpg

A lot of clocks of this type were remotely operated by a master clock which sent an electrical impulse to a "slave" clock which I suspect this one of being. These satellite clocks would have been re-set remotely after a power failure, or at a time change in the spring or fall. If the building owner knows nothing about the clock, I suppose it is likely that the master clock has been removed, and the clock in your image is no longer operational. But of course, I could be wrong.
