Hi I have a Detex Guardsman clock that I would like to open so I can find out what's inside.. I want to know if there is a diagram that I can find on how to pick the lock. I would like to see if there are gears and cogs for jewelry making and I want the outer shell for a steampunk purse... I do not have a key. thanks! Jamie eclecticgatherings@hotmail.com

Kind of too bad you are going to make jewellery out of this clock.

I would much rather wear it in pieces than to not wear it at all... the "purse" will be put to good use... as of now it is not being used.. jewelry is a good thing..it's only worth something to the owner and not worth anything if I can't play with it.. right? I will pass it on down but with a lot less weight... :)
