I am searching for photos of a Hussey's speed indicator.

They were manufactured by E. Howard and sold by American Steam Gauge Co. and the Ashcroft Manufacturing Co. as early as 1880. As far as I know they were all mounted in cases with eight and one half inch dials.

They used a Howard special made 8 day movement with a sweep second hand and a fourth center mounted hand that was independent of the clock movement.

I have the line drawings from the patent and the ASG catalog, I am looking for photos. If you own one of these, or know anyone who does, please PM me.

Thanks,
D

I have a Hussey Speed Indicator in a 10" Star Brass Mfg Co. case with The C. & G. Cooper Co. engraved on the dial. The clock is not complete so I am looking for photos of the complete mechanism and any parts for these clocks.

Thanks,

Chet
