Huber for Kienzle?

    got this the other day,status before cleaning,allthough running with that verry special fork,made from the fork of a balance wheel pin pallet escapement (maybe cheap alarm clock or the like) and loads of soft solder.I´ll keep it as a part of the clock´s history.
    ser.nr is 10629.

    Wow! That fork belongs in the clockmaker's hall of shame! Nice that you're preserving it for the edification of future generations of collectors...

    Burkhard, thanks for posting! You are correct this is a movement made by Huber for Kienzle. The logo on the dial was registered in 1921, but my present data set shows the movement being made early 1920 based on the serial number you posted so this needs some further investigation. Could you post a clear photo of the serial number for the record? it's too blurry to read right now.

    Very innovative fork !!

    Thanks for all comments,especialy John´s and Bangster´s .Here is the ser.no. as requested.The clock is running with its original spring and fork,no need to change it now.

    I noticed some time ago on one of my Kienzle/Huber clocks that the number 6 was larger than the other numbers.
