How to release Hamilton movement

This hinged dial and movement lift about half an inch, but I’m guessing there’s a release to open all the way. Crown seems to have no upper position when I pull in it.
Thoughts ?

It should. Maybe somethings wrong with the sleeve.

Hinge Release? Waltham Pocket Watch

I'm looking at a friend's pocket watch for them and I'm not sure how to proceed. The movement swings out of the case on the hinge a little bit, but it seems to stop. Is there a release I don't know about. I don't want to break it. Thank you.
