How to refinish ???????

    How would I refinish the brown part of this Lux clock front part of the case ?

    I don't think you would, would you TC? personally I'd clean it and mebbe put a little protective polish with a brush and soft brush buff.

    I would also leave it alone. It shows some age without looking shabby.

    It does look like it was mostly hand carved and painted, like most modern cuckoo's are. It would require a bunch of work, and those little novelty clocks don't all bring a price that's worth the trouble. Do something with the hands, and let the rest go ;)
