Probably get new hands that are silver to start with. If it’s golden it’s probably gilt. And the original omega hands that are “silver” will probably either be stainless steel that’s been polished or nickel plated. You will have a hard time getting a good finish on something as sensitive as hands. I’ve tried to refinish a seconds hand for a vintage chrono but electr plating with nickel, it needs a frosted finish. But man, the work needed I get a good substrate to work with and then after that get the finish I’m after is hard. But yeah, stripping the old finish and then nickel plating is probably the best way if you want to do it yourself. If you need to match it to an existing hand though you’ve made it exponentially harder.
I have to agree with Karl. Unless your hand is so rare that finding a silver/nickel version is absolutely impossible it will be cheaper and much better to find an original silver hand.
