I've looked all over the web and can't find an answer for this question. I wish there was a section dedicated to finding out how old our clocks are. I have a curio Howard Miller Majestic and I have the model and serial numbers. You would think with this information there would be a database somewhere that I could reference to find there year this was made. Maybe there is a place, I'm just not aware. I'm sure a lot of us have the same question.

Thank you for your help.

Probably from around 1995.
You can call Howard Miller, they might look that one up for you. Some movements are date coded on the back plate. Willie X

Finding the age of a Howard Miller clock can be a bit tricky, but there are some resources available that may help. Here are a few suggestions:

  1. Check the Howard Miller website: The Howard Miller website has a section for customer service that includes a form to submit questions about specific clocks. You can provide the model and serial numbers of your clock and ask for information about its age.
  2. Contact a Howard Miller dealer: You can also try contacting a Howard Miller dealer near you and asking for assistance in determining the age of your clock. They may have access to resources or be able to provide guidance on where to find the information.
  3. Consult a clock expert: There are professional clock appraisers and repairers who may be able to help you determine the age of your clock. You can search for local experts in your area or contact national organizations like the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors for guidance.
  4. Research online forums and groups: There are many online communities of clock enthusiasts who may be able to offer guidance or share their knowledge about specific models and age ranges.
With a bit of persistence and some help from experts and resources, you may be able to find out the age of your Howard Miller clock.
