Just thought I would post some pictures of my Hotchkiss clock. I have not been able to accurately date it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Bill P_20210526_135137.jpg P_20210526_135115.jpg P_20210526_135103.jpg

It appears from an examination of Downs' three account books, that until 1830 his principal
product with clocks was movements. Among his sales to customers, that year were 200 movements
to Eli and George W. Bartholomew, 300 to Elisha Hotchkiss, 172 to Elisha Neal, and 404 to Eli
Terry. In 1829 he had supplied Eli Terry with 1256 movements. So, your clock is about 1830+/- a bit. Elisha was not a long term provider of clocks from the sparse history I have on him

Thanks for the information. I have owned the clock for a long time and have not found very much on the maker. Thanks again
