i aqquired a very interesting silver, paired case English pocket watch, made by G Brunswick, london, case stamps match, only there are 2 kings tax stamps,5 stampings total, has 7 papers in the case, tracing it to a clock shop in Maine, about 1802,for 3oolbs,the crystal is extended,in the center, for setting, key set &winds thru the rear of case.I believe, this might be an english officers, during the revolutionary war time, any help in accurate info would great, thanks.

i'm not very good on computer, yet!,tring to get my son over,to help with pictures & full ID. this watch is a plain/jane sterling paired case, porclain, single dial, gold hands, signed=G Brunswick,LONDON,No#8611.last visable reciept/paper,is fromJOSEPH WYMAM CLOCK &WATCH MAKER,Nashua,N.H., their, are 6 more papers under that one,4 are readable, but extremely fragile, earlist one i can safely read is from C.H.SANDOS,clock& watch maker,1802,there are 2 almost unreadable papers under it.i'm wondering if its possible, that it could be V.I.P.s watch,as the price was $300. in1802,possibley revolutionary wartime, also the 5 stamps are odd,as all my books claim only 4. will send pics & stamp IDs sent,as soon as i can. Thanks!
