    Hi, i have just received my 1st ever Bulle Clock in the post today, i am going to restore the clock.
    I found this at the bottom of the clock case, does anyone know what part it is or maybe it's not part of the clock at all ?
    The battery is just to help with the size.

    Hi,
    That is a beautiful clock you have. That metal piece is supposed to be between the screw that holds the contact pin and the pendulum rod. I suppose the purpose is to protect the insulation from being damaged by the screw. See photo of my clock:
