• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

    Thank you!

Herr Standard

Hi, I've gotten this Herr Standard that needs the suspension unit replaced. The TimeSavers Catalouge lists four for the Standard! #20A 54, #20B 54, #27A 53, and#27B 55. Do those relate to the Lenght? There are No markings on the back of the Movenent except to say it's German, (0) Jewels, Unadjusted. How do I determine Which Unit to Order?

stilckdv, do you have a copy of the Horolovar 400-Day Clock Repair Guide? It will include a back plate of your movement and the suspension unit needed will be shown. If you don't have the Repair Guide, please post a photo of the back of your movement with the suspension guard removed, and someone here will be able to identify it and provide the correct suspension unit.

stilckdv, best I can tell your clock has Plate No. 1159 from the Repair Guide. This clock requires suspension unit no. 27A, 0.0040". I note on the Clock Repair Forum that you contacted Horolovar and they also gave the same info for the unit. That should do the trick.
