Hello all ,
I have a Hermle 343-020 movement that is now not chiming.
tYe movement runs well ,but it’s not wanting to click in and play , at the quarter hour increments.
Any help / suggestions appreciated

Welcome. Will it chime if you nudge the wheels on the back of the movement? Has it been serviced, oiled properly? How old is the movement?

I made this clock in 2008.
has just came back for me too see why it’s not working properly.
no , I haven’t oiled it , as yet.
I did try nudging the cogs ,to get them spinning.
But no , didn’t spin.

As I am sure you know, you can't 'overwind' a clock.

If you made the clock in 2008 and it's the same movement and hasn't been serviced since then (± 23 years) then it almost certainly needs at least a clean and oil and very possibly more.
