It is 6" deep 13" wide 17 1/4 tall My bet guess is it dates around late 1870's to 1905. It I not chain driven it has cat gut. Any info on this clock would be great. I do believe that Stockton England is where it was crafted. thanks for looking Beechleaf

Nice clock, earlier than you think. A William Windle is listed at High Street, Stockton-on-Tees, Durham, 1851-64.

Thanks for the info Jonathan I was also give a Photo of some chaps from The Stockton- Heath hockey club with a date of 1905-1906 with 11 team members and 3 coaches which is in its original frame with the photographers seal on the back. With each players name and coaches name. on the matting. I'm going to write those folks and get there address so I can send the framed photo to them since it is there history of the hockey club I think they would like it.

Hi Beechleaf - or anyone else on this forum who might be able to reach him after all this time!

Stockton Heath Hockey Club started playing at Warrington Cricket Club's pitch in 1905 and merged to become Warrington Hockey Club in 1926. Warring Hockey Club is still in existence and based in Stockton Heath, Cheshire. We would LOVE to have a copy of this photo for our records and to display in our club.

Thanks,
Warrington Hockey Club
