I’m putting together a Sessions bim bam out of a tambour clock and I can’t figure out where this little strike arbor goes. I know where it goes in the plate but I can’t figure out what it does or which way it goes in. I took a couple of photos of it in the movement where it goes but is it right? Upside down? Help appreciated.
Obviously I did not take a photo of it before disassembly.

Does the movement do a passing strike for the half hour? If it does, that means that the arbor will have to lift the hammer and engage with the minute wheel's "prongs" somehow.
