Hi,
If you pull up the Bulletin index, under Whole # 149, Vol XIV, December 1970, there is an excellent article by Bruce Burns on "Terry Standard Thirty-Hour Wood Movement Contemporaries". It discusses the various types of 30 hour wood movements and includes their escape wheel teeth and leave counts. In looking at this particular source of information, there are no Terry-type movements listed with a 45 tooth escape wheel. The article indicated the only 30 hour wood clock movements with a 45 tooth escape wheel were the Groaner movement and the Jerome's & Darrow "thin" movement. The Groaner movement has 45 teeth and 7 wood leaves as does the Jerome & Darrow movement. Neither of these movements would not fit in a standard Pillar & Scroll case.
Both E. Terry & Sons and Seth Thomas did make eight day movements with 45 teeth and 8 wood leaves. The E. Terry & Sons is a large movement and is too big for the Pillar & Scroll case. The Seth Thomas movement is at least the size of a 30 hour movement but deeper because the great wheel winding drums are bigger. You can find this information in another article by Bruce Burns "Eight Day Wood Shelf Clock Movements" Whole # 144, Vol XIV, No.2, February 1970.
Posting a front & side picture of the movement might help members of the board help you ID your clock movement and the escape wheel needed. Also, knowing how many wood leaves are on the bottom on the your wood escape wheel arbor would be helpful as well?
