Welcome to the Message Board. If by "estimate" you mean discuss the case style, movement, date, and such like, I'm sure that our knowledgeable folks will be happy to provide what information they can. We may not, however, provide estimates or appraisals of monetary value.

Laslo -

This is probably a modern reproduction from the 1950's or later - difficult to put an exact date. However the movement with the pitted pattern on the plates was done by modern stamping process to harden the brass.

Is that an Hermle movement?

Could the UCW the american location for the Hermle company (both active in Germany and the USA?) I read somewhere this, but is it true?

Hhmm. "United Clock Works" ?
I thought it was a Hermle movement, from 1979, perhaps?

Anyway, Laslo, depending on where you are located
(you can show your country's flag in your user profile),
clocks like yours are seen from very different perspectives.

They are found quite often everywhere in continental Europe,
whereas you might find them at auctions in the United States.

The movement is without doubt a Hermle, a 261-080A, from 1979. Any company that orders 25 or more movements can have their name stamped on a movement made by Hermle. I've never heard of this one. It's more likely to be a European (Dutch or German) company than American.

Didn't Hermle often put on the movement the name of the company for which it was made? I once had a Pearl Grandfather clocks with a Hermle movement carrying the Pearl moniker.

I'm from Russia, Moscow city, but this clock I've brought from Germany.
And where it was made - Germany or Dutch - I don't know.

Here is the better photo, where you can see the article.

Your clock is a reproduction of an earlier style Dutch clock. It has a German movement dated (73) 1973 made for United Clock Works. I know nothing about "United Clock Works".

These clocks are quite common.

Best,

Yep. They come up often on Ebay, and you can get an estimate of value there. You'll probably be a bit disappointed :) They are popular though, and if working, seem to be desired for their distinctive look. Search for ZanDam when you get there.

Laslo,

these are, as already has been stated, reproductions of older
Dutch clocks, called Zaanse klok, Saanlander, or sometimes
Friesen Uhr.
They were mainly produced in the Netherlands by WUBA-WARMINK,
for instance and often fitted with German movements.
Popularity came up in 1960s, 1970s, mainly in the BeNeLux countries
and in Germany.
