Hello,

I'm trying to find some information on this Bronze Wall Clock. It has a round French Movement with a R.R stamp on the back plate. I've never seen this mark before. Does anyone have any information that would tell me more about this clock?

All information will be greatly appreciated, sincerely

I've attached some pics to this tread.

Thank you in adavnce

I've just reloaded the pictures, hope it works this time, thanks

Yes, pics are fine now. I don't think this is the maker's mark, I think it is likely the mark of the finisseur. These French movements are often impossible to attribute to a particular maker and had no maker's mark other than that of the finisseur.

Nice clock.

Thanks JTD for your quick reply. As a matter of fact, you're probably right as I've only seen clock with a stamp from Jappy & Fres or Monti. I've verified all the sites I'm aware of to locate that mark and nothing came up so far, Thanks again.
