Help me identify this Gingerbread clock I rescued

Hello clock lovers! I am a picker and help clear storage units. This is a clock I rescued from being trashed or sold away cheap.
There is a partial label but very few letters visible.
The clock is not working that I know of.
it is carved and not pressed, but not what I’d call detailed or fine carving

I’d appreciate any evaluationfrom knowing eyes! Age; maker; value etc are all questions I have.

Looks like the Coghlan model made by the Welch clock co. Book says made about 1885, They show the wood as Ash, I believe the Pendulum is by Owens but is probably original to the clock, nice gong. After saying all these nice things Kitchen clocks are not bringing a lot of money these days.

The clock also has an alarm function. These clocks are robustly made and you may find that it does indeed work, if you wind it up; though it would of course benefit from a proper cleaning and oiling.

I believe the Pendulum is by Owens but is probably original to the clock, nice gong.

The September 4, 1877, patent is US194915 granted to Henry C. Jacot.

I'd say this is a clock for someone who can personally repair it or who just wants a decorative piece. Charges to have the movement cleaned and repaired to working order will exceed by far the market value. Nice clock, but gingerbreads are very common and not particularly in demand.
