• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

    Thank you!

Hello, While sifting through a box of pendulums i had recently acquired, I spotted this one with lettering I did not recognize. Curiosity has the best of me and so i am looking for any ideas on the writing on the back and what kind of clock it may have come from (the clock i know is a long shot so mainly the writing and translation.) Thanks..

PS not knowing the letters i may have posted the pics upside down....And if you need me to try to get a little closer let me know. :)

I have the same pendulum The movement it came from was Identified as a Ebur 6 E Burkhard Schwenningen. I don't know if this is a generic pendulum that could belong to any clock or if it's for a specific movement. Don't know what the writing is, Almost looks Russian

I have one too, yours looks odd as the marking was not stamped completely, it's french. It says BTE S.G.D.G. Brevete means patented and SGDG is sans garantie du gouvernement, i.e. without government guarantee
