I was given a Junghans clock today at work. Nice clock, in decent shape. Wall clock, with the typical ornate top with finales. The face is marked Junghans. I pulled the movement off the rails and it is stamped on the rear with the 8 sided star, Junghans logo. Stenciled on the movement is 27 with a 66/70 beneath it. Can this info help identify the movement & date without photos? I have attached a couple photos. The tablet has a stencil which is on the outside of the glass which I thought odd. Something tells me this might be a knock off. While the logo is an 8 sided star, it doesn't math what I've seen in the msg board. More like 2 squares turned perpendicular, rather than the style from late 1800's to 1908. Hmmmmmm.......
