• Upcoming updates
Over the next couple of weeks we will be performing software updates on the forum. These will be completed in small steps as we upgrade individual software addons. You might occasionally see a maintenance message that will last a few minutes at most.

If we anticipate an update will take more than a few minutes, we'll put up a notice with estimated time.

    Thank you!

Help identifying a watch?

I

Hi,

I have recently acquired a Waltham watch and I'm looking to learn more about it. Specifically, I'm confused by the serial number on the movement that has a letter in it (and as such I can't look it up in the online databases). Here is what I know:

Waltham Riverside
750
21 Jewels
Serial Number: L 62205

Although probably irrelevant, it comes in an 18k solid gold Wadsworth case.

Thanks in advance for any information you can provide about it.

According to my book it was made about June 1948, is a Model B, Grade 767. That's actually for the 17 jewel version so the grade information may be off. For that matter, so may the model designation!

That's all I have.

Tim.
