Hi,
I do some part time work for charity, and the shop has just had what appears to be a vintage swiss watch handed in, but it does not have any obvious makers name on it. The more we know the better the chance of getting it's real value so any help you can give is apreciated
The dial cover is yellow (with age?) , and is not flat but bulges out in a sort of dome shape
The rear is engraved M.N (the owners initials ?), and also has what looks like a serial number, 863694
inside the rear case it says "Swiss Made", "Modele Protoge" (in a cartouche), "Staybrite"
on the moverment it is inscribed "15 Jewels", "5/390", and one of the cogs has 2 pairs of wings engraved on it
Any idea of a maker or date would be apreciated, along with a (rough idea of value if you're allowed to give it)
cheers
