It looks like the Cabinet clock Outlook #1 it came with an optional porcelain dial which yours has mfr. approximately 1921, this has an 89AD movement which strikes the hours and half on the same gong.

the outlook doesn't have the flared bottom this one has.

based on size (just under 14" base, 8 3/4" tall) and case it matches what tran calls a 'tambour no. 3, 1913'... but he also says the tambour no. 3 uses a 120 movement, which has round plates.

BUT... i found this previous forum thread... looks like the same clock, dial and movement: https://goo.gl/CJPzh6 ... which identifies it as a newport.

and this previous forum thread, also thought to be a newport: https://goo.gl/zuvLF3

btw... mine is extremely clean... had no idea it might be that old.

    gang -

i keep thinking that the italic font and porcelain dial look newer than 1915-ish.

anyone know how long ST made the newport? got a guess as to probably vintage?

    thx.

Can't see any reason to think this isn't 1915 or thereabouts. Looks right to me.

I agree with JTD, and if you look at the 1915 catalogue picture in Tran's 3d ed., vol. 2, you will see what appears to be the same dial.
