HELP ID: anyone ever seen this label? Found in italy but from the Black forest.

    PL& Co stamped in the wood. A total mystery. anybody seen this one or can reference it?

    I can't tell you the identity of this mark but to my old eyes it looks as if it says PL & Cie., which would point towards a French or Swiss company.

    Not much help, I know, but maybe a starting point.

    thanks J, I know the maker of the clock, It is an Alexander Fleig clock from the Black forest Germany. 1880. But I think this might be a retailer.
