This thread will provide instructions on how to use the online registration for events in the iMIS System. Logged on members can register for most events online.

There some powerful but subtle tools available to organize the visit of a group of people to an NAWCC event.

In particular the organizer of a group may register both themselves and associates including NAWCC Members and nonmembers both children and adults.

The NAWCC Online Registration system supports individual or group registrations for an event.

Registration consists of registering the member who is entering the registration information (pending checkout). After clicking on the Button to Register you must select the Registration Option. Normally for a single member, this will be Member. Those who are not NAWCC Members may not register themselves for events. The exception is when the event includes an option for New First Time Members to join the association and receive a discount on their registration for the event.

If you have been an NAWCC Member in the past and your membership has lapsed, you will need to have your membership reinstated before you may register for the event. You may do that online, but you may be delayed a day or two while the staff processes the details of your update.

Once the member has registered themselves, they may use the option to register someone else. Clicking on the Register Someone Else button will offer the chance to select who they want to register from their list of existing relationships, or to name a new person. Most often this will be their Spouse/Sig Other or a friend the normally travel with. For some events the price for a spose registration is less than for other parties. Also spouses are not required to be NAWCC Members to attend events. The third is to register a child under the age of 18 (or whatever age the event specifies) who will be admitted to the event at no charge.

When there are more than one person registered for the event, each person will be eligible to purchase event options, such a a meal or early entry to the event. Normally the primary registrant will purchase tables for the event, but the table purchases may be distributed among the registrants by each buying one or more table rentals.

The early entry option that is offered at some events allows those who have not purchased tables to enter the mart room earlier that the registrants who do not have tables and have not purchased the option.

If a person is accidentally registered for early entry when they have a table or vice versa, an error message is shown to determine which option the wanted to choose.

When all the members of the party have been registered and all the options selected for each of them, the person doing the registrations may check out and pay for what has been purchased with a credit card.
