I have worked on one or two of those movements, as well as other similar ones by AS. At first glance, I don't see anything visibly wrong with the movement that would lead me to believe that their have been ham-fists practicing their "craft" on it. Few scratches, upper pivots are showing in the jewels, etc. It is possible that someone just removed those screws to use in another movement. The fact that the movement has shock protective springs on the balance makes it a lot less likely that a balance pivot is broken. Overall my instincts, based on the image, say that you'll have an easier time with this one than you think. I hope my instincts are accurate.
I like the dial a lot, and the case looks like a nice full stainless steel model. Good luck with it.
