Hallmark help on my hunter case

Does anyone know what this hallmark means on my pocket watch hunters case? Is this gold? It's on my Waltham 18 size watch . Any idea of the maker

If the case was made in the U.S., its not a hallmark - the U.S. didn't have hallmarks. Its a trade mark that appears to be a lion. If so, your case might be a Lion 10K gold-filled case, made by H. Muhr's Sons or one their successors.
