Can anyone tell me what kind of material these clock cases were made of, and how best to go about repairing broken out screw holes. I really appreciate your input. Thanks

Not familiar with the material or the clock in question, but if stripped screw holes are an issue my usual fix involves filling them with a mix of sawdust and white glue.
