I have a Gustav Becker Wall clock. There is no serial number, just P48. On the face the huor and minute hands are held by a single pin.

My clockmaker said it is form before 1900. The clock has a pendulum and chimes on the hour and half hour. How do I date this clock and what is the approximate value of the clock.

Уважаемый Джон Хабби. Прошу расскажите мне про эти миниатюрные часы. Такие часы достаточно редки в России. Если возможно , хотел увидеть такие часы в каталоге. С уважением Игорь.
Dear John Hubby. Please tell me about this miniature watch. Such watches are quite rare in Russia. If possible, I wanted to see such a watch in the catalog. With respect, Igor

Hello Igor, I apologize for my slow reply, however I have been traveling for the past two months and just now returned home.

Your clock was made in early 1876 based on the movement serial number. If Becker had catalogs in that time we have not yet found any evidence. This is a very nice 3/4 size Vienna Regulator in the Biedemeier style of the 1870s, it appears to be all original from the photos you provided. A very nice clock worthy of restoration.
