Thank John Hubby for your information! because my clock was bought from the Czech Republic, only movement. It strike at the hour and half-hour, however I don't know that the gongs and hummer have been installed correctly the distance and location? I dont understand that It chimes correctly on the hour from 7 until 12:00, but 1:00 it chimes 2 times, then at 2:00, three times, then at 4, five times... Can you show me how to repair my clock? Thank you so much!

You'll need to remove the dial and show a pic of what the movement looks like at 1:00. We need to see the snail (the center arbor area where the hands attach). Don't get too close, because we need to see the snail and the rack tail.

dvdbka, it appears you have a problem with the rack strike mechanism, either the stops and gathering pallet or the adjustment to the snail that controls how many times the clock will strike on each hour. Shutterbug has asked for photos with the dial removed, that will be essential for us to see what is there and be able to analyze the problem.

If you're not sure how - just remove the hands and the four pins behind the front plate on the movement. That whole front part will come off easily, and is just as easy to put back on
