Gustav Becker hand question UNK

Hi,

I have this time only Gustav Becker and wondering what this small brass hand attached to an roman numeral chapter ring. It travels at the same rate as the hour hand.

The "Roman numeral chapter ring" is an alarm disc. The extra hand seems to have something to do with that and thus would seem to be involved in setting or triggering the alarm. However, I've never seen such an arrangement, so I wait for others more versed in Becker than I.

Perhaps pictures of the insides, i.e., the movement would help.

This is a bit closer. I see these two posts to the right of the dial . Doesnt look like a later add on IMO

This is certainly later addition. The quality, Roman "IV" instead IIII deny GB factory product.
