I know label pic is terrible. Says J.J. Kelly & Bros. Co. Anyone recognize it? Google search doesn’t bring up anything

A picture of the movement would be helpful.

Does it give a town or city for the maker?
If any one finds the name in a reference book it would be easier to say if it is your Kelly

It’s say Scranton on the label. I guess it’s a small maker. Movement looks a lot like Sessions, gong & bell on the half

Better pic. Got it home & cleaned up. Won at auction. Appears to have been recently cleaned & serviced, so waxed the outside & did some polishing.

It is a Sessions movement; so, possibly a special make for Kelly & Bro. Co., whoever they were. I did find mention of a J.J. Kelly in the March 1908 volume of The National Engineer (right hand column, p. 128, toward the bottom of the page). He is called a County Boiler Inspector, not sure which county, possibly Westmoreland County near Pittsburgh, on the other side of the state from Scranton. I'm not sure that is necessarily a hindrance to identification, however.

Thanks. Cleaned everything with just a damp towel & used Howard’s restore a finish + wax after that. A few spots with little dings I colored in with a black Sharpie. All the brass was polished on a wheel with Blue Magic.

It’s turned out to be a very quiet & solid clock.
